ASPIRE conducted awareness meetings to ensure communities stop harmful cultural practices.This affected children education in different ways.In Zomba in Chimwalira Zone in Nambere Village the camp have been closed.The initiates were only there for three weeks

ASPIRE YLM at Mchengawedi

19th August 2017

Youth Literacy Movement (YLM) ToF at Mchengawedi zone in Zomba. As one way of improving reading skills for girls in Upper primary school, ASPIRE introduced the YLM with the aim of supporting learners in reading and writing at home. YLM plays an important role in complementing the efforts of teachers in schools to equip learners with reading and writing skills. After this TOF, HTs and DHTs will train the 8 YLM members who were selected by communities surrounding schools in ASPIRE impact districts.

SOCIAL AND BEHAVIOR CHANGE COMMUNICATION FOUNDATION COURSE

14th August 2017

CRECCOM along with partner NGOs and other Government sectors dealing with health are attending a Social and Behavior Change Communication Foundation course at the University of Malawi; The Polytechnic.
The Course is organised by WITS university in collaboration with FHI360 and The Polytechnic - University of Malawi.
CRECCOM is one of the Partner NGOs for the course, other NGOs include; Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO), story workshop, Ministry of Health , Development Broadcasting Unit.
The Course is facilitated by WITS university and The Polytechnic.
