CRECCOM is conducting its 5th Participatory Organizational Development Assessment (PODA) on 13th November to 14th November 2019, at Sunbird Ku Chawe Hotel in Zomba. External experts from Counterpart International (CPI) are facilitating this assessment, through the USAID Supporting the Effort of Partners (STEPS) Program that it is implementing. The program aims at strengthening the capacity of civil society to improve access to public services, including healthcare, education, environmental protection, and clean water.

This Assessment is the first after the recent Institutional Strengthening Award CRECCOM received on 13th December 2018 ( https://www.facebook.com/Creccom/photos/a.364135873658931/2349866048419227?type=3&sfns=mo), from CPI. CRECCOM Board commissioned this 2019 PODA in order to assess growth of their organization and it plans to do this every year.

The meeting of 30 officers celebrated the remarkable achievements in Leadership and Strategic Management, Program Management and Quality Control, Financial Management, Financial Sustainability, Human and Material Resource Management and External Relationships and Partnerships. We are determined and have embarked on our journey to 'self-reliance' as we continue think deeply to set up our systems and programming for growth." Ms Madalo Samati, CRECCOM"s Executive Director said.
