Pathways for Successful Transition (PAST)

SUMMARY

The project seeks to successfully 'graduate' ultra-poor households especially women-headed and youth into resilient livelihoods. This will be done through four fundamental interventions
: a) Targeting ultra-poor households, those that are participating in the regular consumption support programs, have labour capacity with potential to graduate, and reside in areas of high economic activities;
b) Working with project participants to identify contextually appropriate and individualized livelihood transition pathways; and by providing skills training to promote successful graduation;
c) Providing complementary asset transfers to support economic resilience and transition and by encouraging savings to sustain their graduation.
d) Providing Life Skills coaching to participants to assess how households are faring, offer ongoing support, and boost self-confidence.
