Luzi Community Theatre Groups (CTG) was once known as Luzi youth club before Creative Center for Community Mobilization (CRECCOM) identified it as one of its CTGs. Luzi CTG which has 9 girls and 6 boys is from Group Village Head (GVH) Chavula, Traditional Authority (T/A) Jalavikuba in Mzimba district.

The CTG was found through CRECCOM's and Save the Children's Pathway for Success Transition (PAST) project coordinated by the Financial Access for Rural Markets, Smallholders and Enterprises (FARMSE) project unit with funding from the Malawi Government and IFAD.

CRECCOM encouraged members of the CTG to take part in different developmental activities within its community on top of the PAST project activities.

In February 2020, the CTG cleaned the surroundings of Luzi Health Centre. It further took a step to help in environmental conservation by involving themselves in Youth Afforestation Program. To support the interest of the club in afforestation, GVH Robert Chavula, provided a piece of land which the club now owns and have planted 200 trees.

The club is also promoting youth participation and leadership among the youths, gender and human rights, and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). These are being promoted through community sensitization that happen in forms of drama, songs and games.
